We are 5 partners from different 5 countries and we created this project in a complete agreement of all partners as far needs, rationale, objects, tasks and share of tasks, meeting programme, Learning/ Teaching/ Training activities for pupils are concerned.
We will work on the definite innovative strategies to provide the knowledge and skills that students will need to succeed in a new global world as old-fashioned model of education is no longer applicable. We will focus on these six strategies. Pupils will be the main actors of the project and they will improve enthusiasm for school and responsible behavior which will help them overcome lack of basic skills. Our project will develop an inclusive approach, integrate good practices and new methods into daily activities and improve practices to cater for the needs of disadvantaged groups and it will deal with social, linguistic and cultural diversity. The students will take advantage of these aspects.
The teachers of the partner schools will exchange ideas, thoughts, pedagogical and methodological material, observe lessons, learn about the inclusive approach which will make their learning and teaching process more effective.
They will be able to develop their language, communication, managerial and negotiation skills as well as the team spirit. Learning about different educational systems and methods will give them new tools to use in their work which will increase their interest and motivation.
The project will promote the cooperation between schools and nations and the exchange of ideas and pedagogical approaches leading to the creation of a transnational network and increasing the schools’ European dimension and prestige. The institutions involved will manage to create an inclusive environment which will help all the learners achieve their full potential.
The website will spread the outcomes of the project; the classes will organize workshops and little shows for the audience of families: so the families will be made more aware of the European dimension of education. Local municipality will take part in these activities.
The project will also have stakeholders from outside the school. They will include the NGOs and/or local institutions. They will cooperate with schools, thus the project an stakeholders will be positively affected in terms of dissemination to wider areas.
Our analysis showed that unenthusiasm for school and irresponsible behavior of students, lack of basic skills and early school leavers are common problems among European students. The old, strict model of education aimed at differentiating smart students for college from those who would work in non-academic vocations. This concept is not valid any more. In the world full of technological inventions, attractive approaches to life, it is vital to think about students’ needs, wishes and skills while planning their education and career otherwise they will get bored and demotivated soon. Schools need to do much more than just select students according to their cognitive abilities.
